She has limited foreign policy or UN experience, apart from being on a House national security subcommittee. Views: Accuses UN of being “anti-Semitic” for its member votes against Israel in Gaza war; advocates overhaul of US funding for the UN. Opposed first Trump Muslim ban, but did not publicly condemn child separation policy. Was also accused by GOP Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger of promoting a racist “white replacement theory” after the 2022 Buffalo shooting involving a white shooter. Pro-gun; opposes taxpayer funding for abortion; supports abortion ban at 15 weeks with exceptions for rape, incest, or to protect a pregnant woman’s life.
